O P Nayyar musical nite
An O P Nayyar melody show will be held on January 22, as part of a campaign to create AIDS awareness organised by the Rotary Club of Mumbai West Coast. Manhari Singh, a long-time associate of Nayyar will direct the musical.
Singers like Shoma Banerjee, Ameya Date, Shivprasad, Vaishali Samant, Dipali Somaaya and Ashok Khare are scheduled to participate in the programme to be held between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm at the Andheri sports complex.
BJP bags three wards in civic polls
Corporators belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party BJP bagged three wards in the elections to the chairmanship of 16 administrative wards of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation BMC. Kamini Bhatija was elected as chairperson of H/E ward while Pravin Chedda won the N ward and Anant Palkar for C and D wards.
Largest exhibition on real estate
India8217;s largest exhibition of housing and real estate projects Fortune 20008242; organised by Maharashtra Chamber for Housing Industry and Housing Development Finance Corporation is currently on at Bandra-Kurla complex. The exhibition will be open till January 17. The exhibition showcases nearly 400 real estate projects currently being developed in and around the city by over 50 reputed developers.
