Triribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri jewellers have organised the Dulhan Festival Contest 1997 at their Zaveri Bazar premises. The contest, which began on December 1, will continue till December 31. The coupon for entering the contest can be obtained by those who purchase jewellery worth Rs 10,000 from TBZ. It has to be submitted at the TBZ counter after answering the question given therein. Prizes include an Opel car and gold and diamond jewellery sets. Gold coins are part of the consolation prizes.

Adventure course

The Explorers and Adventurers will hold an adventure course8217; for children between 12 and 18 years of age at Borivli National Park from December 25 to 31, 1997. The curriculum includes camping, rock climbing, trekking, map reading, conservation, rescue, first-aid, star gazing, photography, etc.

Training will be given by experts, and certificates will be given to those who complete the course. For details, contact: Divyesh Muni on 6436637, 6441682 or K Srinivasan on 2691192.

Lecture

The second Vasant J Sheth Memorial Lecture will be held on December 20 at the YB Chavan auditorium. Dr Vijay Kelkar, chairperson, Tariff Commission and former Petroleum Secretary, Government of India, will address the audience.
