Mumbai Notes 8212; BMC canteen

Leader of the House in the BMC, Shiv Sena8217;s Nandu Satam will inaugurate a blood donation camp at the BMC canteen on December 23. Municipal Commissioner will be the chief guest at the camp organised by the Kridabhavan from 10.30 am . A spokesperson of the Kridabhavan has appealed to all BMC employees to donate blood on the occasion.

A 25-year-old-patient, Brijeshchandra Dubey, who has to undergo a cardiac metral valve replacement at the KEM Hospital needs financial assistance. Those willing to contribute can contact Dr A Tendolkar Professor, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, KEM Hospital, Parel.

The US Ambassador Richard F Celeste distributed Rs 10 lakh to the Happy Home School for the Blind, Talwada Eye Centre and Kripa Foundation at a function at the Happy Home, Worli . The money was collected with the help of Rotary Club of Bombay.
