Dacoits loot Rs 3 lakh

  • In a broad daylight operation, armed dacoits looted Rs 3 lakh from a petrol pump owner at Chembur as he was on his way to deposit money in a bank on Monday morning. At around 11.45 am, as Manohar Mangalani, owner of Chembur Service Station, was heading towards Sion-Trombay Road in his Maruti car to deposit money, he was intercepted by a Maruti 1000 MH01-A-4647 near Sadguru Motors. Four unidentified persons grabbed away the cash at chopper-point and fled.
