Rajendra Prasad commemoration

  • An organisation Bihar Front will organise a function on the birth anniversary of former president Dr Rajendra Prasad on December 3 at the ISKCON Auditorium, Juhu at 6 pm. A special debate has also been organised on the eve of the celebrations titled, The Relevance of the Indian Constitution in Contemporary India8217;, which will be attended by former minister Dr Rafiq Zakaria, State Law Minister Leeladhar Dake, Justice retired B M Gupta, Professor Arun Kamble of the Mumbai University and High Court advocate Niteen Pradhan.
  • Talk on crimes against women

  • The Maharashtra State Women8217;s Council has organised a panel discussion on Unabated Crime 8211; What8217;s the Solution8217; on December 2 at Bombay House Auditorium, 24 Homi Mody Street, Fort, at 4.30 pm. Speakers include DGP, Maharashtra, A S Inamdar, Resident Editor Times of India Dina Vakil, Commodore Om Prakash, Convenor of the Alert Citizen8217;s Initiative and Haresh Jagtiani, advocate. The discussion isopen to the public.
  • Kennel Club to hold workshop

  • The Indian National Kennel Club will hold a workshop on the breed of German shepherds on December 4, 5 and 6. The workshop will include a demonstration on the handling of the dogs and a seminar covering various topics on the breed. Speakers at the seminar will include experts from UK and the US.
