MUMBAI, March 19: The Mumbai Suburban District Table Tennis Association from MSDTTA kick-off a busy table tennis season on April 15 with the annual league for clubs, gymkhanas and offices. The league will be followed by a summer camp from April 18 to May 3 at Loreto Convent Hall, RCF Chembur to be conducted by National coach, Kamlesh Mehta.

Entries for the inter-club/gymkhanas/offices tournament will be accepted from April 1 to 5 between 5p.m. to 7p.m. at the Association8217;s office and may be submitted to: Dr Bakul Parekh, Malaneh, Plot no 427, Behind Kanta Sadan, 10th Road, Near Jain Temple, Chembur, Mumbai-71. Phone: 5280580. Fax: 5286675. Fixtures may be collected on April 9 and 10 from the same office.Details on the summer camp will also be provided by Dr Parekh as well as Avinash Madhavi Tel 5644462. The Association drew up a tentative list of events for the forthcoming season.

The dates venues to be announced later: April 15-May 3: Summer Camp; April 15 onwards: Inter-Office/Gymkhanas/Officesleague; May 23-24: Finals of annual league and women8217;s division matches; May 26-30: District Ranking tournament; June 1-6 District ranking tournament; July 14-19 Juhu Vile Parle Gym State Ranking tournament; Aug 1-16 MIG Bandra State Ranking tournament; Aug 23-29 BARC Chembur State Ranking tournament; Sep 1-6 District Ranking tournament; Sep 11-13 Weekend league tournament; Sep 15-20: District championship at Khar Gym; Oct 15: Camp before State championships; Oct 25-31: State Championship.
