Morcha over KCB apathy

PUNE, Sept 22: The residents of Range Hills, Khadki have threatened to take out a morcha to the office of the board president on September 24 to protest against the apathy shown by the authorities in the mass food poisoning case that affected 20 children from Khadki last week.

Ward member William Smith alleged that the despite reports submitted by the police authorities and medical officer in charge of the Dr. Babasahab Ambedkar Hospital, who mentioned in their reports that the offending bakeries should be sealed, no action has been initiated by the cantonment executive officer.
