
8226;BETULMP: Passengers of the Chennai-bound GT Express had a narrow escape as sudden landslides blocked tracks near here on Saturday and the train was stopped in emergency conditions. Rail traffic was disrupted on the route and the GT Express was taken back to nearest railway station at Dharakhoh. Railway officials rushed to the spot as a massive operation was carried out to clear the track, they said.

8226;JAIPUR: At least 12 people were feared drowned when the vehicle carrying them fell into a rain-swollen river in Jhalawar district, about 325 km from, on Saturday evening. The mishap occurred at around 5 pm when the driver lost control of the vehicle on a bridge on the overflowing Thapi river.
