BATALA, Dec 2: Work at the Municipal Council here was paralysed as the indefinite strike in protest against suspension of five municipal employees, entered the second day today.

Deputy Director, Local Bodies P.S. Shergill had ordered the suspension of the employees who were found absent from duty. Gurbachan Lal, president Municipal Karamchari Sangh has threatened to continue the strike till the suspended employees were not reinstated.
