
NEW DELHI, April 14: Manjinder Kaur will lead a 16-member Indian team on its twin tours, of Germany and the United States. The tour is part of the team8217;s preparations for the women8217;s hockey World Cup in Utrecht, Netherlands next month.
The team, which underwent a camp at the NIS Patiala, will play Test matches in Germany from April 15 to 19.
They will then proceed to the United States to take part in a four-nation tournament there.
England, Canada and the hosts are the other participating nations in the tournament to be held at Springfields from April 22 to 26. The information was provided by Vidya Stokes, president, Indian Women8217;s Hockey Federation.
