LIC employees stage protest

Chandigarh, Aug 19: All insurance employees of Life Insurance Corporation of India here today staged a walkout for two hours for an early settlement of their demands and recruitment of staff. The walkout was observed in response to the call given by Insurance Employees8217; Association.

A rally was organised in front of the LIC office and slogans raised in support of their demands. Addressing the rally, Narinder Walia, president, Northern Zone Insurance Employees8217; Association, appealed to the authorities to accept their demands as early as possible.
