From the largest to the smallest, the Election Commission has listed the constituencies in the country after a survey. The Ladakh constituency in Jammu and Kashmir is the largest with an area of 1,73,266.37 sq km while Chandni Chowk is the smallest constituency.As compared to Ladakh, Chandni Chowk constituency — represented by BJP’s Vijay Goel in the 13th Lok Sabha — covered just 10.59 sq km. This was followed by Calcutta North West over which there has been considerable bitterness in the Trinamool Congress. In place of sitting MP Sudip Bandhopadhyay, Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee has nominated Kolkata Mayor Subrata Mukherjee. This when Bandopadhyay wanted to retain the seat.The four largest constituencies after Ladakh are — Barmer in Rajasthan (71,601.24 sq km), Kutch, Gujarat (41,644.55 sq km) and Arunachal West and East (40,572.29 and 39749.64 sq km, respectively).The other tiny constituencies are Mumbai South (13.75 sq km), Mumbai South Central (18.31 sq km) and Sadar in Delhi (28.09 sq km).
