
NEW DELHI, April 20: The central district police claim to have worked out a case of murder after the suspect was arrested from a Karol Bagh house. On April 4, a decomposed body was found buried under heaps of scrap and sawdust in Karol Bagh. The body was identified as that of Ram Nath, a night watchman at a nearby house.
On furthur investigations, police discovered that two trunks were missing from the belongings of the labourers living at the site. One of the trunks belonged to the deceased. It was found that one of the labourers was absconding and evidence pointed that he was present at the time of the crime. Sahil Singh became the prime suspect in the case. After a trip to his village in West Bengal, police traced the suspect to a house in Bapa Nagar in Karol Bagh. In the course of the interrogation, he confessed to having committed the crime. The police also claim to have recovered the two trunks that were missing.
