Kannada Sabha organises function

CHANDIGARH, Nov 2: The city unit of Kannada Sangha presented a colourful cultural programme at LECMA, No 3 BRD, Air Force, yesterday on account of Kannada Rajyotsava, the state festival to mark the attaining of state-hood by Karnataka. Speaking on the occasion, H D Pai, General Manager of Canara Bank recalled the glorious heritage and culture of Kannadigas. He called upon them to preserve and strengthen the culture.

The highlights of the cultural programme were group songs, folklore, dance, drama representing Kannada culture.
