Malleswari’s sister lifts AP
Woman lifter K Krishna Kumari maintained her family tradition by landing Andhra Pradesh their third gold of the Games to add to the double in team badminton. The younger sister ofrenowned lifter and former world champion Karnam Malleswari claimed the 59 kg class title (80 kg snatch + 105 kg clean and jerk) to break Manipur’s stranglehold in the women’s event.
