This year, his calendar girls include Rajlakshmi Khanvilkar. He has been doing it for over seven years now but this time his work is being noticed because he has teamed up with Wendell Rodericks. The Goa-based designer provides the clothes and does the styling 8212; and Isar gives the credit for the newfound attention to him.

What is he doing now?

He has got some more commercial work including shooting a campaign for Godrej Fridges.

Any chance of a solo exhibition?

He took part in a group exhibition about three years called Exhibit A, held at the Jehangir Art Gallery. It was group show and other participantsincluded Atul Kasbekar, Farrokh Chothia and Ashok Salian. quot;I have had no time to put togther a solo show yet.quot;

And who is his guru?

No one in the domestic scene. But he does loves the work of two New York photographers: Sheila Metzner, a top glamour photographer and Albert Watson, another well-known name in America.

His grouse?

quot;There is still scope for improvement in the whole industry. We just lack professionalism.quot;
