New Delhi, Jan 15: Samir Dad struck a brace as India scored a 4-0 win over Belgium to claim the three-match men8217;s hockey Test series 2-0 at Barcelona. The young forward opened the account and also struck the third goal after Dhanraj Pillay had made it 2-0 going into half-time in the third and final Test played on January 13. Baljit Singh Chandi rounded off the margin, scoring the fourth with all goals coming through field conversions.

India, who beat their European rivals 2-0 in the first match but were held to a 1-1 draw in the next before the fine win to round off their engagements in the Spanish capital.

8220;The tournament and Tests have helped us rectify many mistakes. Technically, I would say the performance was good to above average,8221; coach V Baskaran told PTI over phone from Barcelona. 8220;Some of the boys have not played in Europe and it was a very useful experience for them,8221; Baskaran added.

India next take part in the Sultan Azlan Shah tournament to be held in Malaysia from February 16-26, the team for which will be selected at Bangalore8217;s SAI South Centre on February 5.
