India has decided to outsource the consular services to Indian missions in Canada in order to facilitates the issuance of visas.

India has decided to outsource the consular services in order to facilitates the issuance of visas.

8220;The government has decided to outsource consular services at the High Commission of India in Ottawa and Consulate General of India offices in Toronto and Vancouver,8221; Indian High Commission spokesperson Vinod Sachdeva said.

When asked about operationalisation of new visa-regime, Sachdeva said that it would be announced soon. Proposals have been invited from private service providers, he added.
