MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI today for the first time admitted that chairman of selection committee Ramakant Desai has resigned on health grounds. Secretary J Y Lele, acknowledging Desai8217;s resignation, said a new selector from West zone will be picked in Calcutta during the second Test between Australia and India. He clarified the replacement will be the substitute selector and not the chairman.
