How I keep fit?

I generally have home made food. My wife Priyanka is a very good cook. Breakfast for me consists of egg whites8212;in the form of scrambled eggs. I eat it with toast and a glass of juice.

Which are your favourite exercises?

I run regularly and do some weight lifting. That suits me fine.

For lunch, I have home made chicken because it8217;s cooked with less oil and spices than the unit food. I go for soups and salads during dinner.

What8217;s your exercise regime?

I go to the gymnbsp;at least four to five times anbsp;weeknbsp;for around an hour. If I don8217;t go to the gym for some time, I feel uncomfortable. I started working out on the machines in 1993. But the regime was irregular because I often had to drop it due to my busy schedule. I used to exercise in the evening and eat a lot during the day to look big and muscular. When I came to Mumbai and got into acting classes, I stopped exercising. But once Mohabbatein happened, my exercise regime became regular because the role demanded a particular appearance. Earlier I only used to lift weight, but these days I adjust my exercise regime to get the look my role demands. If a particular director wants me to be lean, I would stop hitting the gym and start running everyday to shed the excess muscular bulk.

Which are your favourite exercises?

My two favourite exercises are running and lifting weights. I had a personal trainer during Mohabbatein because I had an accident and needed a trainer to get back in shape. I have never done yoga. I know it8217;s difficult to take time out, but you have to do it for exercise. I feel better and I sleep better on days when I work out.
