Ornamentation is frowned upon at Address Home8217;s second store at Ogaan, Hauz Khas 8212;from chandeliers to candles, from furniture to vases, things spell a bold austerity trend. But don8217;t discount the intrepidity of designs 8212; there are acrylic chairs in pink, white, black and lime-green imported from France, hand-glazed, distended zig-zag vases and a delightful lamp from the Netherlands. At the 2,500 sq ft store spread over two levels, the lower level offers stuff like leaf-shaped candleholders, flute and martini glasses while the second level goes extravagant with opulent chandeliers, lamps and vases. 8220;The collection changes every month,8221; says Ranjit Singhi, creative director of Address Home. 8220;There is an attention to colour, but it is balanced by a muted shade like charcoal. Also in textiles, we have used mixed media like silk with velvet.8221; The prices here begin at Rs 450 and go up to Rs 1 lakh. An oval organza black lamp from Germany comes for Rs 39,000, and an acrylic chandelier in black and red comes for Rs 21,000. The hand-glazed matte vases begin at Rs 1,200 and go up to Rs 4,500, while an Inka jug from Poland costs Rs 3,900. Contact: 64670533
