MUMBAI, August 29: The Bombay High Court has granted an ad-interim injunction restraining The Free Press Group from publishing any defamatory statements about Bennett, Coleman and Co Ltd, publishers of The Times of India group of publications and its chairman, Ashok Kumar Jain.

The matter came up for hearing on Friday before Justice K K Baam of the Bombay HC in a defamation suit filed by Bennet, Coleman and Co Ltd and AK Jain against Indian National Press, publishers of FPJ.

The order restrains the INP from repeating or publishing any defamatory statements, in any manner, about the company and Ashok Jain.
