
PUNE, AUG 15: Fasting anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare today returned to his temporary headquarters at Alandi, after being kept under medical observation for 12 hours at the Sassoon Hospital here on Saturday.
Hazare was persuaded to get hospitalised after his blood pressure showed wide fluctuations on the fifth day of his fast, District Collector Vijay Kumar Gautam said.
Vigilant after the anti-corruption crusader hinted at ending his life, the district administration has decided to post a well-equipped medical team at Alandi. Chief Minister Narayan Rane is also being updated on Hazare8217;s health, Gautam said.
Hazare was admitted to the hospital on Friday, where he underwent various tests, Medical Superintendent Dr B A Kadam said.
