CHANDIGARH, Jan 24: Hardeep Singh of Chandigarh steal the show to win the title in the 4th Mr Junior North India body building championship held at DAV College in Sector 10 here today.

Out of four competitors selected for the title, Hardeep, who won first position in the below 75kg category, was cut above the rest. The Chandigarh body builder not only outshown his rivals in the complusory poses but also outclassed them in free posing, to wear the crown.

Hardeep had also won the Mr Chandigarh title, held yesterday at the same venue.

More than 40 body builders from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh took part in the meet, organised by Chandigarh Amateur Body Building Association.

The next Mr Junior North India meet will be held at Delhi in October.Former Mr Universe Prem Chand Degre, was among others present on the occasion.

Results
Below 60kg: 1 Mahi Pal Singh Delhi, 2 Jai Prakash Punjab, 3 Gopal Boru Chandigarh.
Below 65kg: 1 Kamla Alam Delhi, 2 Bhupinder Punjab, 3 Parvesh Kumar Haryana.
Below 70kg: 1 Satinder Singh Delhi, 2 Kulwinder Singh Delhi, 3 Vikas Delhi.
Below 75kg: 1 Hardeep Singh Chandigarh, 2 Rakesh Kumar Haryana, 3 Naveen Punjab.
Above 75kg: 1 Adityaman Singh Chandigarh, 2 Sham Singh Punjab, 3 Narinder Kumar Himachal Pradesh.
