HA notice

PUNE, Sept 4: Hindustan Antibiotics Limited HAL has served a notice on Rahul Nagar Vyapari Sanghatana for beginning the illegal construction of 43 gallas on the company land outside its formulation plant. The company spokesman stated that the foundation stone was laid today on around 700 sq metres of company land near the formulation plant outside the banner of Rahul Nagar Vyapar Sangahatana. The sanghatana claimed to have already sought permission from the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation PCMC.

However, when the company officials sought a clarification, the corporation authorities said they had nothing to do with the construction of the gallas at this particular site, he said.

The notice has been served under the Public Premises Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants Act, 1971 granting the sanghatana a period of eight days to stop work at the site.
