CHANDIGARH, April 23: Pace Cricket club will face Godrej Cricket club in the opening match of the 3rd Gursagar Silver Cup cricket tournament, to be held tomorrow at 8.a.m., at Gursagar ground, near Sukhna Lake.

The matches will be played of 40 overs each. The semifinals will be held on May 6 while the final is slated for May 8.

Nirmal to lead
Nirmal Singh of Chandigarh Police will lead a ten-member team in the North Zone wrestling championship to be held at Jammu from April 24 to 26. Other members of the team are: Dharminder, Surinder, Krishan, Jaipal, Ranbir, Sandeep, Bahadur, Sumer and Bijender.

Punjab team
Punjab Region team for the North Zone and All India Provident Fund athletics and basketball meets to be held at Chennai from May 4 to 8, has been selected.

The team: Kulwant Singh Rana captain, Rajinder Singh Thakur, Anoop Kumar, Vijay Bharti, Kulwinderjit Singh, Krishan Dhawan, Rajinder Singh, Ganga Ram and Kishan Negi.

LS Sambyal will be the manager of the teams.
