Carbajal beats Arce on points

TIJUANA, MEXICO: Michael Carbajal, trailing on all three judges8217; cards, stopped Jorge Arce in the 11th round to claim the junior flyweight championship of the fringe World Boxing Organization.

Carbajal 49-4 landed a left that sent Arce back into the ropes, then hit Arce with three strong rights to send him into the ropes a second time. The fight was called at 1:53 of the round.

Arce, of Mexico, led 98-91 on all three of the judges8217; cards.

Sales pitch
