
PUNE, June 28: There are a total of 32,200 seats in 101 colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad areas for admission to standard XI beginning June 30. The form priced at Rs 12 will be distributed from June 30 to July 2 at all colleges.
From June 30 to July 6 forms will be available at eight sub-centres 8211; S V Union High School, HHCP high school Huzurpaga, Bharat English School, Vimlabai Garware High School, Camp Education Society8217;s high school, Shahu College, Fatehchand Jain college, Chinchwad and Mahatma Phule college, Pimpri.
Students are requested to carefully fill up the forms and submit them at the 17 centres from June 30 till July 6. There are a total of 6,360 seats in arts Marathi medium faculty at 44 colleges. Students have to list at least 24 colleges preference wise as options which also includes colleges in their residential area.
Similarly, there are 1,200 seats for arts English medium at 12 colleges. Students must fill up 10 colleges as options. Out of 10,340 seats for science faculty at 57 colleges, the Deputy Director of Education8217;s office has urged students to fill up 32 colleges as options. The commerce Marathi medium faculty has 6,900 seats in 53 colleges 8211; for which students must fill up 32 colleges as options while out of 7,400 seats commerce 8211; English medium in 38 colleges, students must fill up 30 colleges as options.
Forms are required to be submitted at any of the 17 centres: Pune city area 8211; S P College, Girls Agarkar high school, Netaji Subhaschandra Bose Vidyalaya, D B Dadawala junior college. Shivajinagar area 8211; Modern college, Abasaheb Garware college, Marathwada Mitra Mandal college, Fergusson college, Shankarrao More Vidyalaya. Pune camp area 8211; Nowrosjee Wadia college, Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Vidyalaya, Sadhana Vidyalaya, Hadapsar and Poona college, Pimpri-Chinchwad Area 8211; Jaihind school, Pimpri, Mhalsakant Vidyalaya, Akurdi, Nav Maharashtra Vidyalaya, Pimpri and Alegaonkar High School, Khadki.The results will be declared within 10-12 days, Assistant Director of Education S Z Khateeb said.
