And so we all head to the final day in this interesting Test match series with everything to play for.

I am not a betting man, but my guess is India are safe and can play out a draw. There is of course the outside chance of the home team going in for a win because of great batting line-up.

At the other end of the spectrum is the Pakistan with captain Inzamam obviously yearning for more time.

He should have declared much earlier not waited till so late in the day.

The pitch looks fine, it is turning but slowly, and there are no wide cracks yet, so Indians have to play sensibly to play out the final day and take the series.

Still I don’t think you needed more than 330 for India to be challenged.

But again there maybe a few other factors weighing Inzy’s mind.

For one he does have Arshad and Danish but they are not Harbhajan and Anil.

Hence it seems Inzy did not have any faith in his bowlers. But he should be happy that Pakistan is an improved team from the Test match and can only get better.

Sourav too seemed to miss a point when he did not give Harbhajan long spells when Pakistan were trying to set a score.

The last day solely depends on Sehwag and the way he bats because his natural style will set a pace which India will find like a cushion.

But if he gets out other batsmen to follow will find the going tough.

It then is all set for a pulsating final day, the key to which lies in the first session.
