England skipper Alistair Cook hit 8 7runs today to steer his team to a five-run win over Pakistan its final super league match of the under-19 World Cup. The win ensured England top spot in its group, while Pakistan was runner up.

Sent in to bat, England were all out for 196 in 50 overs, with Pakistan8217;s Riaz Afridi claiming 5-42 at Fatullah Stadium near Dhaka. Pakistan were then bowled out for 191 in 47.4 overs.

Both England and Pakistan had already qualified for the semifinals, while the final game today determined their group standings.
