
The Vigilance Bureau here today nabbed chief electrical inspector Triloki Nath Sharma and made a rich haul of cash and papers showing property worth crores.
Following the complaint by one Jaswinder Pal Singh of Ludhiana, a team nabbed Sharma while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000. After the raid at his office, Sharma was taken to his residence where a search operation was conducted by the Vigilance team which found gold jewellery weighing about 900 grams and currency notes amounting to Rs 22 lakh from his residence.
Records reveal Sharma owned a flat at Noida worth about Rs 50 lakh, a flat at Solan, residential plots at Jagadhri, Ablowal and one house at Ajit Nagar in Patiala.
