Easy for Mary Kom

World champion M C Mary Kom began her camapign in 6th Senior Women National Boxing Championships in style stopping Neha Rathore of Rajasthan in the very first minute of their bout at the JRD TATA Steel Complex rings in Jamshedpur, according to IABF release here today.

Mary Kom leads a pack of international women boxers who have brought glory to India at the World meet as well as Asian Women Championships 2005. A record numbers of 203 boxers, representing 27 States are participating in the championships. Thirty one bouts took place on the opening day and the results were along the expected lines with no major upsets.
