Central Railway Mumbai Division recorded their third victory in the eight-team Bombay Hockey Association senior division league, defeating Central Bank of India 6-4 in a thriller.

Edwin Moti gave Central Railway the lead again with a nice move down the centre, while Rakesh Podetti8217;s stroke in the penultimate minute allowed CRMD to heave a few sighs of well-earned relief.
The bankmen went into the lead first, through Martinez Fernandes in the fourth minute; CRMD equalised through Sukhvinder Singh in the 9th, and struck their purple patch 15 minutes later. Javed Sayed and Mohd Amin struck either side of a brilliant piece of work by Amrik Singh, when he flicked the ball from the top of the circle past an onrushing defender and a clueless custodian.

Behind them in the table are Sports Authority of India and Mumbai Port Trust with six points apiece. Both teams have the edge, having played only two matches.
