Servant accused of theft
Tikka Navdeep, a resident of Sector 21, reported to the police that his servant Vinod Kumar alias Vicky, a resident of village Balam Kachi, in Shimla district, had stolen cash and jewellery from his house. The police have registered a case.

Man injured in assault
Sunil Kumar, a resident of Kajheri village, has complained to the police that some unknown persons attacked and seriously injured his brother Lali Ram. The victim is admitted at the GMC hospital in Sector 32, while the police have registered a case of causing grievous hurt.

Man arrested for drunken driving
The Sector 34 police have arrested Nanak Chand, a resident of Hamirpur district, on the charges of driving a truck HP 21 2551 in a drunken state and causing accident. The police have booked him under Section 185 of the Indian Motor Vehicle Act.
