One held for stealing
The police have arrested a Sector 30 resident, Ghanshyam, and recovered from him old parts of an aeroplane, while he was carrying them away after stealing from the Air Force Station. The police acted on a complaint filed by J.S. Minhas, Wing Commander, 3BRD.

Goods recovered
The police have arrested Rachpal Singh of Mani Majra Complex and recovered five stolen stepneys and two-wheeler batteries from him. With his arrest, the police said four cases of theft have been worked out. Further investigations are on and more recoveries are expected, said the police.

Whisky seized
A resident of Colony Number 5, Anil Kumar, has been arrested with eight bottles of whisky. A case under the Excise Act has been registered.

Two arrested
A Sector 42 resident Jagmohan Singh reported to the police that some household articles such as two gas cylinders, a deck and a television have been stolen from his residence. The police have arrested two persons, Lila Ram and Ram Kumar.
