
CHANDIGARH, MARCH 23: The Chandigarh Administration has clarified that the candidates who pass their qualifying examination from Chandigarh, but have not studied in UT colleges or schools for the past two years, will not be eligible for admission to educational, both technical and medical, institutions in the City.
However, such candidates would be eligible for admission in the general pool quota, which comprises of 40 per cent of the total seats, which will be filled from candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from schools, colleges outside Chandigarh. The remaining 60 per cent of the total seats, comprising of the UT Pool quota, would be filled from candidates who pass their qualifying examination from UT and have been a student from UT schools, colleges for the past two years.
