Here8217;s your chance to go where only space missions have gone before. The Jyotirvidya Parisansthan is all set to take you there. It is holding an exhibition of photographs of important space missions from the 1957 Sputnik mission to the recent Cassini mission to Saturn. Models on astronomy-related subjects, telescope-making and other activities of the organisation will also be on display.

8220;Three computers at the venue will display information downloaded from the internet about these space missions. The basic aim is to spread awareness among students about a subject they are not taught enough in their schools,8221; says Prakash Tupe, vice-president of the organisation. The exhibition will be held at Dnyanal Mangal Karyala, Navi Peth, on September 25, 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Interested? Beam yourself up there.

Dil se8230;
It8217;s on the stands again. Another compilation of the entries for the love letters and Valentine Day messages contest organised by the Hriday Mitra Prathishthan, entitled Heart to Heart. Edited by Shrikant Mundada, managing trustee of the prathishthan, the book was recently released. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this book, in Hindi and English versions, will be donated to the heart surgery help fund of the organisation. It chips in financially to assist around 30 heart patients who need surgery every month. Now that8217;s a heartfelt gesture!

Make-it-big mantra
Come September 26 and Pune is probably going to see an entire line-up of fashion gurus holding forth on their experience in the world of glamour. There will be Meher Castellino and Rahul Roy from Mumbai who, along with the city8217;s Indira Broker, Farida Master, Shyamoli Varma and Tanaz Kothari, will spill the beans on how to make it big in the fashion world.

Organised by the Oracle Institute of Fashion Designing as part of their curriculum, the one-day seminar at the Residency Club, which will be inaugurated by Suresh Kalmadi, is for the first time being thrown open to outside public. Anyone with ambition, interest and Rs 200 can participate and gather tips on what it takes to become part of all that glitz.
