Kidnapping case registered
Karnail Singh, a resident of Sector 49, reported to the police that Amrik Singh, a resident of Pachi Rurkee village in Kharar, came to his residence in a jeep PB-65-1818 with some other men and beat up his brother and later kidnapped him. The police have registered a case under Sections 365 and 34 of the IPC.

Man assaulted
C S Parmar, a resident of Sector 21, reported to the police that he was assaulted by Baljinder Singh, his wife Uma Rani and their son and daughter. The police have registered a case under Sections 323, 506 and 34 of the IPC.

Car stolen
Avtar Singh, a resident of Sector 35, reported to the police that his Maruti car CHK 7346, was stolen from Sector 34. The police have registered a case of theft.
