Akali Dal defers showdown
The Akali Dal today gave breather to the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre by deferring final decision on the withdrawal of support on Udham Singh Nagar issue in view of the talks with Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee to be held in Delhi tomorrow.
