BJP, allies to sail together
The Bharatiya Janata Party BJP today said it would contest the coming elections along with its allies under a common election manifesto which would be broadly based on Vajpayee-led government8217;s National Agenda for Governance. Though a final decision on the common election manifesto would be taken by the BJP8217;s working committee in consultation with its allies, the general thinking was that the election should be contested on a common platform and a common manifesto.
