Panchkula Sec 2 house ransacked
House number 845, Sector 2 in Panchkula was ransacked on Sunday night while its owners were away to Goa. It was in the morning that the neighbours found the main door open and smelt something burning. When they went to check up, they found the lock of the main door broken and the bedroom ransacked. A burnt cloth was lying at the scene of the incident. The loss would be assessed after the owners return from Goa around November 25.

3-day science exhibition
Students from 150 educational institutions are expected to participate in a three-day inter-state science exhibition on the theme Science for Better Life, to be held at the Sector 8 DAV Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, on November 18.

Students will display working and non-working models accompanied by project reports. The exhibition is being organised at five different levels: Classes I to V, Classes VI to VIII, Classes IX and X, Classes XI and XII, college and university. The prize distribution ceremony will be held on November 20, last day of the exhibition.
