Caterers down Parsees

MUMBAI, October 24: A fine triple strike by winger C Francis Fernandes saw Royal Caterers hand a 4-1 loss to a fighting All Parsees Sports Club in the Harwood League encounter of the Mumbai District Football Association MDFA at the St Xavier8217;s Ground, Parel, today.

A dual between Hasmukh Baria and Neil D8217;Costa saw the ball get dangerously close to the Parsees net and Francis made no mistake to pump the ball in with a left-footer to take Caterers into the lead 24th minute.

Mid-way through the second session striker Roy Fernandes banged the second goal for the Caterers. Francis scored two more goal in quick succession to give Caterers an assailable 4-0 lead. The last goal came off a penalty shot. Hosang Sinor denied Caterers to make a clean sweep of the match with a last minute goal for the Parsees.
