When Bollywood actor Lara Dutta launched Samsung’s latest mobile phone Omnia, she obliged the shutter bugs with a graceful smile. Dressed in a creamy coloured top, but was hardly as charitable to the assembled media persons. “She was here only to launch the phone. Since she is not the brand ambassador, it would not be appropriate for her to comment on the phone,” a Samsung spokesperson offered by way of explanation. With five releases lined up in the first half of next year, the actor though is quite in the thick of things otherwise. She has just completed the shooting schedule for Anthony D’Souza’s action flick, Blue, and is now dubbing for Priyadarshan’s Billo Barber. After that, the last shooting schedule for David Dhawan’s Do Not Disturb will also commence. Hopefully then there will be lots to talk about for Ms Dutta.
