MUMBAI: IBM Global Services India and Aptech have announced a strategic quot;e-business solution partnershipquot;. Through this partnership, IBM and Aptech will be able to bring a wide range of E-Business solutions to the Indian and global marketplace. The alliance covers a host of activities such as eduction, knowledge management, migration of legacy applications and development of web enabled solutions based on advanced IBM e-business technology.

MUMBAI: Andersen Consulting, the world8217;s largest management and technology consulting firm announced it has formalised a three-year agreement to provide broad consulting services to the World Economic Forum, including the enhancement of the Forum8217;s global infrastructure and the creation of new opportunities to extend the reach and impact of the forum8217;s work. Under the accord, the consulting firm will play a lead role in helping the forum develop a new infrastructure to enhance knowledge-sharing and interaction among itsmembers.

Jamp;K Bank

MUMBAI: The total business of the Jammu amp; Kashmir Bank Ltd has grown to Rs 7322 crore during the first nine months ended December 1998 from Rs 5906 crore same period last year. The operating profit has increased from Rs 88 crore to Rs 137 crore. The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 65.43 crore Rs 36.15 crore.
