PUNE, May 20: The girls from Bhor notched up an impressive win of an innings and six points over SNDT in the girls section of the ongoing Nav Maharashtra Sangh, District Kho-Kho championship here today.

After setting a target of 12 points in their first essay, Girls High School, Bhor cut short the charge of their rivals giving away just two points in the first innings followed by four in the other for their victory.

In another encounter Arya Krida had mixed luck. After their girls edged out Samarath Krida 9-8, in an all-Arya Kirda tie their A8217; team registered an 8-6 win over their B8217; counterparts in the women8217;s section.

Earlier, in the men8217;s section , Nav Maharashtra A8217; snicked past their B8217; team after sharing seven points in their first innings. In the second essay, Nav Maharashtra managed to muster two more points and curtailed their rivals two points behind the target for the win.
