Dahiya, who is a close aide of Bansi Lal, said that the name of Bansi Lal had been quot;unnecessarilyquot; dragged to defame and harm him politically. He added that the approval for the construction on the hotel was accorded during the regime of Devi Lal and its construction was done during Bhajan Lal8217;s regime. A bar licence to it was first granted in 1996 by the Bhajan Lal regime and now after prohibition it is one of the many resorts in Haryana which has been granted a bar licence. Since the hotel was running in losses, Dahiya said he joined as director in view of his vast business experience.
