Seeking guaranteed funds for the Armed Forces, Army Chief General S. Padmanabhan said here yesterday that there should not be a situation where the Defence sector has to ponder how much funds it would get each year.

‘‘I know my country can give me a certain amount of money. But I want a guaranteed availability. Let’s say about 3 per cent of the GDP as a commitment over the next 10-15 years,’’ Padmanabhan said.
