CHANDIGARH, June 8: Aman Kumar’s unbeaten knock of 39 runs and Rajeev Dutta’s fine spell (3 for 8) enabled Industrial Cricket Club beat DYFI XI by six wickets in the 9th Bathany cash prize cricket tournament, held yesterday at CRPF ground, Ramdarbar.

DYFI won the toss and elected to bat. The team had good start but middle order bastmen falied to maintain the tempo and could only get 123 runs in the allotted 25 overs.

The main wreckers were Rajeev and Aman who got three and two wickets respectively.

In reply, Industrial Cricket Club got the winning total in 20th over for the loss of four wickets. Aman was the main run getter for the team. His unbeaten knock of 39 runs off 36 balls includes five boundaries.

Wrestling trials

Kumaon Sports Club beat Happy XI by 10 wickets in the Uttarkhand Trophy cricket tournament at Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 23 on Monday. In another match Garhwal Cricket Club defeated Victor Cricket Club by 11 runs.
