An all-party meet on Sunday condemned the killing of Manorama Devi allegedly by 17th Assam Rifles personnel in Manipur and emphasised the need for stopping the misuse of the Armed Forces Special Power Act by security personnel in the state.

The meeting presided over by CM O. Ibobi Singh also urged Home Minister Shivraj Patil to visit Manipur to review the situation after the killing of Manorama, L. Iboyaima Singh, state Janata Party president said.

Representatives of the Congress, CPI, CPM, JD(S), BJP, Federal Party of Manipur, Manipur Peoples Party, JD(U) and Manipur National Conference attended the meeting.
