Accused in land scam gets bail

PUNE, June 1: Aditya Maharaj Singh, the prime accused in the Mahar watan land deal case was granted interim anticipatory bail by additional sessions judge SY Padhye on Monday.

Singh8217;s defence counsel argued that the missing files pertaining to the case 8220;contained documents which are in favour of the applicant and there is no reason why he should have taken those files away.8221;
